Professional biography

Cassie has practised in the areas of employment law and industrial relations for many years and assists clients throughout the various stages of the employment relationship. She has worked extensively across all sectors and industries, but has significant experience in Government, Education and Infrastructure. Cassie regularly appears in employment and industrial relations-related proceedings in the various federal and state courts and tribunals. Cassie's areas of expertise include:

  • training on HR issues, discrimination, bullying and performance management;
  • workplace investigations into allegations of bullying, discrimination and sexual harassment;
  • employment law implications associated with business outsourcing, sales and acquisitions;
  • enterprise agreement making and disputation;
  • HR policies;
  • sham contracting;
  • international secondments;
  • managing ill and injured employees;
  • performance management; and
  • termination of employment strategies.

Cassie was admitted to practice in 2004 and joined Lander & Rogers in 2011.
