Kelly Kandelaars

Kelly specialises in the management of multi-million-dollar complex litigated insurance matters including catastrophic personal injury, institutional sexual abuse claims, royal commissions, class actions, coronial investigations and inquests.

Prior to joining Lander & Rogers Kelly was Director of Legal Services at the Coroners Court of Victoria and held senior roles with the Victorian Managed Insurance Authority (VMIA).

Kelly is highly experienced in managing sensitive and complex litigated insurance claims, drafting policy wording and providing coverage advice. She has a demonstrated history leading large legal and multi-disciplinary teams.

Kelly possesses significant experience in the end-to-end strategic management of large and diverse portfolios of medical indemnity and liability claims, as well as inquests and inquiries. Kelly has particular expertise in the management of complex matters of commercial and political sensitivity.
