Kelly maintains a diverse practice in several areas of general insurance and has experience in courts across multiple jurisdictions, as well as in royal commissions and coronial inquests. She predominantly advises insurers and insureds in personal injury matters involving public entities, statutory authorities, hoteliers, hospitals, construction companies and sporting and recreational organisations. She specialises in claims arising out of catastrophic and psychiatric injuries, often involving numerous parties.
Kelly is known for her ability to remain calm and confident while handling and negotiating complex disputes, ensuring she consistently delivers high quality results for her clients.
Kelly's areas of expertise include:
- public & products liability;
- personal injury, including defence of statutory recovery claims;
- property damage;
- medical negligence; and
- indemnity and coverage advice.
Kelly was admitted to practice in December 2009 and joined Lander & Rogers in September 2013.
Kelly is currently completing a Masters of Law at the University of Melbourne, specialising in civil litigation and dispute resolution.
