Michael has extensive experience over 22 years providing advice on many landmark Melbourne and Sydney building projects including AAMI Park, MCG, Eureka Tower, QV and in Sydney on No 1 Martin Place, 400 George Street, Governor Phillip and Governor Macquarie Towers. He acts for owners, project managers, builders and subcontractors in the preparation and provision of advice on construction contracts, tri-partite agreements, consultant contracts and subcontracts.
Michael provides his clients with strategic legal and commercial advice to support and assist tender review and preparation, contract administration, claim preparation, dispute management, and resolution.
Michael previously worked in private practice and legal and operational roles including as General Counsel and part of the executive team at Australia’s largest privately owned builder, Grocon and as Building Operations Manager, Southern Region for Australia’s largest construction company, CPB Contractors (Leighton Contractors), part of the ASX listed CIMIC Group.
Michael's combination of significant legal and operational experience in the delivery of major projects allows him to provide a unique strategic advisory role to clients and other project stakeholders.
Michael joined Lander & Rogers in January 2017.
