Peter was admitted to practice in 1974. He practised broadly for many years in family and criminal law, general litigation and property, but since 1989 has practised exclusively as an accredited family law specialist.
Experience
Before joining Lander & Rogers, Peter was a partner at a substantial suburban law firm for 23 years.
Peter handles a wide range of family and domestic relationship matters, including parenting issues, property settlements in both marriages and domestic relationships and all matters ancillary.
His specialist expertise includes property settlements; financial agreements; mediation; superannuation splitting; spousal maintenance and child support; and parenting issues.
Peter served as Chairman of the Executive of the Family Law Section of the Law Institute of Victoria for three terms and spend 10 years on the Family Law Advisory Committee on Specialisation, which included assessing family lawyers seeking accreditation as a specialist.
Peter is recognised as a leading family law practitioner in the Doyle's Guide and Best Lawyers in Australia publications.
