Lander & Rogers has been recognised as an Employer of Choice for Gender Equality (EOCGE) for 2023-2025 by the Federal Government's Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA).

This is the fourth year Lander & Rogers has held the citation, which recognises the firm's initiatives to foster gender equality in the workplace across the key focus areas of leadership, flexibility, talent and pay equity.

"As citation holders since 2020, we consistently apply a gender lens to our practices and policies, ensuring we create a gender-equal workplace that is inclusive, supportive, and fair for all," said Chief Executive Partner, Genevieve Collins.

Ms Collins noted Lander & Rogers' recent achievements in achieving gender equality in its workforce, as the first of Australia's major law firms to reach gender parity in its partnership. The firm is also proud to have a 60% female Board, a gender-equal C-suite and practice group leadership team, and consistent gender balance in its Leadership Development Program for partnership.

"While we still have more to do, the Employer of Choice citation is a wonderful celebration of our values and our continued leadership in gender equity," Ms Collins said.

Chief People Officer Mica Duncalfe congratulated the 115 Australian organisations recognised as Employers of Choice on their collective achievements in addressing barriers to gender equality. "We know that diverse and inclusive environments allow people to better reach their full potential, and ultimately deliver better business outcomes," Ms Duncalfe said. "It's important that our workforces represent the diversity of the clients and the communities we support."
