Lawyers Weekly has revealed the finalists in its Women in Law Awards 2021, with Lander & Rogers represented across four categories:
- Diversity Law Firm of the Year
- Dealmaker of the Year: Jackie Solakovski
- Mentor of the Year: Lee Formica
- Senior Associate of the Year (BigLaw): Claire Walczak
Lander & Rogers won the Diversity Law Firm of the Year category in the Women in Law Awards 2020, in recognition of the firm's policies and initiatives to promote gender equality through pay equity, flexible work practices and tools, gender neutral parental leave opportunities and the promotion of women to positions of leadership. The firm made headlines at the end of 2020 when it announced significant changes to its sexual harassment policy, introducing mandatory reporting for anyone who experiences, witnesses or becomes aware of sexual harassment at the firm; and implementing a new policy that provides guidelines around consensual personal relationships in the workplace to minimise risk of conflict of interest. Both initiatives reinforce the firm's zero tolerance of harassment and affirm its commitment to an inclusive workplace.
