Anna is an insurance litigation lawyer specialising in medical indemnity and health law. She represents hospitals, health services, health professionals and professional sporting clubs in defending claims and managing complaints and investigations.
Experience
Anna joined Lander & Rogers' Insurance Law & Litigation team after completing her graduate year with the firm. Prior to commencing her legal career, Anna was a physiotherapist in both Australia and the United Kingdom.
Anna is experienced in representing hospitals, health services, sporting clubs and individual health professionals in claims, complaint management and investigations.
Her experience extends to defending claims in the Supreme Court of Victoria, the County Court of Victoria and assisting in Coronial inquests. She also assists in responding to regulatory complaints and unlitigated claims. In addition, Anna represents sporting clubs in relation to concussion litigation.

Anna's career highlights include:
- representing a health services provider during a lengthy Coronial inquest involving numerous stakeholders and generating significant media interest
- acting for AFL clubs in complex Supreme Court litigation regarding the management of concussion in former players
- acting for allied health professionals and doctors in relation to AHPRA investigations into notifications resulting from issues of communication, inadequate note taking, substance abuse and boundary violations.
