Experience
Fiona joined the Insurance Law & Litigation team after completing her graduate year with Lander & Rogers. She is experienced in representing health services, hospitals, individual doctors and allied health professionals in claims, complaint management and investigations. Her experience extends to assisting in Coronial investigations and inquests, Health Complaints Commissioner complaints, letters of demand, AHPRA investigations, litigated claims and general health law advice.

Fiona's career highlights include:
- representing an emergency services provider during a lengthy Coronial inquest involving numerous stakeholders and generating significant media interest
- acting for a tertiary hospital in a high quantum complex Supreme Court matter involving the alleged mismanagement of labour and delivery resulting in a significant brain injury to a baby
- acting for allied health professionals and doctors into AHPRA investigations into notifications resulting from issues of communication, inadequate note taking, substance abuse and boundary violations
