We wish to congratulate Patrizia (Pat) Mercuri who was recently appointed a judge of the Federal Circuit Court. This is a wonderful achievement for Pat whose commitment to legal excellence has been the cornerstone of her career as an industrial, discrimination, and employment lawyer.
Pat joined the Lander & Rogers partnership in September 2003 and has been an integral part of the sustained growth and reputation of our Workplace Relations & Safety group nationally. She took a leading role in the development of both our government and education practices, particularly through her outstanding work in the tertiary education sector. Pat remains widely recognised as one of Australia's leading discrimination lawyers.
This appointment marks an exciting new phase in Pat's career and whilst we as a firm are very proud of her Honour Judge Mercuri, we also acknowledge how much she will be missed. Congratulations Pat!
