Belinda is a senior associate in Lander & Rogers' construction team. She advises clients across the construction industry on a range of front and back-end construction matters. By adopting a personable, proactive approach to lawyering, Belinda is able to understand, respond to and prioritise the needs of her clients.
Belinda is experienced in preparing, negotiating and finalising construction contracts, consultancy agreements and related documentation (including tripartite finance agreements) and providing ongoing contract administration advice that considers the legal and commercial implications for her clients.
Belinda also advises clients on dispute resolution, including in relation to security of payment matters and complex multiparty litigation.

Belinda has extensive front-end and contract administration experience, including:
- acting for a major Australian retailer in connection with the negotiating and finalisation of construction contracts (including AS4902, AS4000, AS4910 and minor works contracts) and consultancy agreements for the design and construction of new warehouses and the upgrade of existing warehouses (nationally and in New Zealand) and providing contract administration advice as required
- acting for a national healthcare provider in connection with the negotiation and finalisation of construction contracts (including AS4902, AS4905 and minor works contracts) and related documents for the redevelopment of various hospital sites, and the upgrade of existing hospital sites across Australia
- acting for a property developer in relation to the redevelopment of various sites, including a range of residential, commercial, retail and mixed-use sites in Victoria and South Australia
- advising an automotive parts business on the preparation and negotiation of design, supply and install agreements in connection with an automated distribution centre in Victoria
- undertaking comprehensive subcontract risk reviews on behalf of, and providing advice to, a civil works subcontractor frequently engaged on large government infrastructure projects.
Belinda also has experience assisting clients with both the formal and informal resolution of disputes, including:
- acting for an affordable housing provider in respect of significant damages claims brought against multiple parties, including the head contractor, building surveyor, engineer and architect, relating to defective works undertaken at multiple sites
- providing advice and assistance to contractors and subcontractors relating to enforcement of their rights under security of payment laws in New South Wales and Victoria
- acting for a major tenant in an arbitration proceeding against a fitout contractor, involving time-related claims brought by both parties against the other, and claims for damages for defective works. The arbitration proceeding has necessitated the need for substantial expert programming advice
- acting for a logistics service provider in Supreme Court of New South Wales proceedings (and related adjudications under the NSW Security of Payment Act) against a subcontractor involving claims of breach of contract.
