Jessica is experienced in assisting private and public sector employers with handling complex employment, safety and discrimination matters. She represents and advises employers across a diverse range of industries and has appeared before both the Fair Work Commission and the Industrial Relations Commission of NSW.

- representing employers in general protections and unfair dismissal claims
- advising employers in relation to employment, safety and discrimination issues including disciplinary action and redundancies
- assisting with the employment aspects of corporate transactions including undertaking employment and safety legal due diligence
- assisting employers with sensitive workplace investigations
- providing modern award and enterprise agreement interpretation advice
- reviewing employment contracts and policies
- conducting training on employment and safety matters.
Career highlights
Jessica's career highlights include:
- undertaking a secondment as Senior Legal Counsel in the Commonwealth Bank of Australia's in-house employment legal team
- assisting a large public sector client with managing a suspected systemic underpayment within its supply chain
- representing a not-for-profit organisation in the safety prosecution arising from a double fatality
- assisting a public sector client with ensuring it had satisfactorily addressed all complaints made by a serial complainant regarding corruption, collusion, theft, discrimination and bullying
- undertaking a secondment with a large NSW Government agency in an industrial relations role.
