Lander & Rogers has advised Arthur J. Gallagher & Co (Aus) Limited, a member of the NYSE-listed Arthur J. Gallagher group of companies, on its acquisition of NSW and Queensland based AgriRisk Services, a provider of crop and other agricultural insurance products and services to higher-value rural enterprises and large corporate agribusiness operations in Australia. This is a significant transaction for Gallagher and builds out its existing farm, crop, and agribusiness offering across Australia.
Established in 1989, AgriRisk has over 25 years of experience providing risk management advice to farm, crop, horticulture and forestry clients, and access to specialist rural and farm insurance products and solutions.
Lander & Rogers provided legal advice on all aspects of the transaction, including conducting due diligence, providing negotiation, strategy, regulatory, employment, insurance, IP/IT, litigation, and property advice, and the drafting and negotiation of all transaction documents and coordinating completion.
