Australia's largest family law practice ranked first-tier firm nationally and among top-tier firms on state basis for fifth consecutive year in the 2023 Australian Family & Divorce Law rankings.
Law firm Lander & Rogers has been named a first-tier law firm nationally and among the top tier of law firms on a state basis for the fifth consecutive year by Doyle's Guide's in its 2023 law rankings in the area of Family & Divorce Law. Nine of the firm's partners were also ranked as Leading Family & Divorce Lawyers on a state or national basis.
The co-practice group lead of Australia's largest family and relationship law practice, Mark Parker, said "we are proud and humbled to be recognised by our peers for providing leading family law expertise and service. The ranking of our practice and lawyers is testament to our continued focus on creating an exceptional experience for our clients and referrers."
Established in 2009, Doyle's Guide rankings are objectively compiled through a combination of independent research and interviews with providers of legal services.
Using this data, firms and individual lawyers are ranked across three tiers — with an additional category for notable mentions — and categorised by state to provide consumers of legal services with greater transparency and confidence when selecting a legal services provider.
The 2023 list of leading Australian Family & Divorce law firms and lawyers showcases those practising within the areas of matrimonial, de facto, parenting, property, spousal maintenance, and child support matters across all Australian legal markets that have been identified by their peers for their expertise in these areas.
According to Mr Parker, the independent rankings are important in helping consumers to make informed choices with confidence in an increasingly technical area of law. "Our field is becoming more specialised and complex than ever before. Doyle's Guide helps buyers of legal services to navigate this complexity and find a firm or lawyer with the skills and experience matched to their needs."
Founded in Melbourne in 1989, Lander & Rogers' family law practice has grown rapidly in recent years; establishing a permanent presence in Sydney in 2016 and in Brisbane in January 2020.
The practice now comprises almost 100 legal and support staff and the highest number of accredited family law specialists, qualified mediators and arbitrators of any family law practice, making it the largest of its kind in Australia, said co-practice group lead Collette McFawn.
"Uniquely, we're one firm, rather than an affiliation of firms, and we serve our clients, nationally and internationally," said Ms McFawn. "We also benefit from being able to tap into the expertise of our employment law, corporate and other commercial law colleagues, which means we can offer our clients truly holistic advice," added Ms McFawn.
