Hayley is a Senior Associate in Lander & Rogers' Insurance Law & Litigation team. With a focus on construction, engineering and insurance disputes, Hayley advises insurers, insureds and brokers on a broad range of complex insurance coverage and liability matters. She works with clients across the construction, engineering and infrastructure sectors to resolve disputes and manage claims.

Hayley advises insurers, insureds and brokers on complex insurance coverage, construction, engineering and commercial disputes. Her practice spans the full lifecycle of a claim, from coverage advice and early strategic assessments through to litigation, arbitration, mediation and settlement. She regularly advises on policy interpretation, indemnity issues, quantum, recovery prospects and claims strategy across a range of insurance products.

Hayley has particular experience in matters arising from major construction, engineering and infrastructure projects. She has acted in disputes involving construction defects, engineering failures, property damage, professional negligence, project delays and large-scale recovery actions. Her experience includes advising on claims arising from transport, energy and renewable infrastructure projects, as well as complex commercial and industrial developments.

• acting for a major rail infrastructure contractor in a complex dispute arising from the delivery of a significant transport infrastructure project
• advising the professional indemnity insurers of a construction management contractor in relation to claims arising from combustible cladding and other alleged defects associated with the design and construction of a major regional hospital development
• acting for a major contractor in relation to claims arising from extensive mould contamination at a major regional hospital development, including issues concerning delay, remediation and associated losses.
