Matylda is a Senior Associate in our Insurance Law & Litigation group acting for insurance and government clients in several insurance related claims and disputes. Her primary focus is on complex casualty and liability matters for our insurance and government clients. She also has a strong practice in workers' compensation and NDIA matters.
Experience
Matylda advises and acts on behalf on insurers and insureds on both litigated and un-litigated claims including advice on liability, prospects, quantum, reserves and strategy. She regularly appears at court, conferences and mediations, liaising with clients, independent experts, counsel, opposing lawyers and mediators to ensure her a smooth and successful claims management process.
Prior to joining Lander & Rogers, Matylda was a Senior Associate in the Government Team of a large law firm, where she specialised in the management of workers' compensation, military compensation and NDIA matters in the Administrative Appeals Tribunal, as well as worked at the Australian Government Solicitor as a Senior Lawyer in the Employment and Compensation Team and a Lawyer in the Civil Regulation Team (Consumer and Competition Law). Prior to that Matylda spent time in London where she worked in litigation at a top tier firm and with a UK government agency. Earlier in her career Matylda worked for the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions in Queensland.
