Lander & Rogers is expanding its Family & Relationship Law practice into Brisbane from 20 January 2020.

Partner and National Practice Group Leader, Mark Parker said, "Our group has been well established in Melbourne for over 30 years and in 2016 we opened our Sydney office. This expansion to Brisbane will strengthen our ability to service our clients across the eastern seaboard."

"It's not just about national growth, though. As the world has become smaller, the movement in cross-border jurisdictions has increased. In recent years, we have seen growth in work which has involved Australian family law and its intersection with the family law jurisdictions in the Asian market, in particular Singapore and Hong Kong."

To lead the Brisbane team, the firm has appointed new Partner, Genevieve Dee. Genevieve is well respected in the Queensland legal community, specialising in all aspects of family law, including financial agreements, parenting and property matters, surrogacy, spousal maintenance and child support issues.

Genevieve is joined by Special Counsel Anna Domalewski — an experienced litigator, who has worked on complex parenting and property matters, as well as spousal maintenance and child support issues.

"Genevieve and Anna's expertise will broaden the specialist offering that we can provide to not only our national clients, but also international and expat Australians," added Mr Parker.

On her appointment, Genevieve said, "I am incredibly excited to have the opportunity to build a new family law offering in Brisbane with Landers, a firm of extraordinary talent and experience."

Both Anna and Genevieve are Accredited Family Law Specialists, adding to the team's position as the most experienced family law group in Australia — with more Accredited Specialists than any other firm, nationally.
