Jon has practised in insurance and personal injury litigation since 2015. He is experienced in complex litigation including workplace, public liability, product liability and recovery claims.
Experience
Prior to joining Lander & Rogers, Jon worked as a senior associate at a national law firm where he specialised in advising and defending clients in dust disease and public liability matters. These matters commonly involved complex multi-party litigation.
Jon commenced his career as a plaintiff lawyer, practising for several years in the areas of WorkCover, public liability and TAC. This experience provides a unique perspective of insurance litigation, with experience and understanding of how both sides work.
Jon has particular experience in defending dust disease claims, principally claims arising from asbestos and silicosis exposure. He is a member of both the Supreme Court Dust Diseases and Personal Injuries List Users Groups. Jon brings expertise in defending personal injury litigation and consistently advises in relation to specialty and complicated claims.
