Tean is a litigation, financial services and insolvency and corporate recovery lawyer.


Tean regularly acts in complex commercial disputes and he specialises in financial services, including restructuring and insolvency related matters.

He focuses on all aspects of corporate insolvencies advising leading insolvency practitioners, creditors, directors and other stakeholders. Tean also provides advice in relation to the financial restructuring of distressed companies.

Tean also acts in complex financial services matters for major financial institutions, private equity providers, superannuation and other financial services entities, including advising them in relation to regulatory investigations and prosecutions brought by ASIC and ICAC.

Tean is a member of the Australian Restructuring Insolvency and Turnaround Association (ARITA) and INSOL International and is recognised in Doyle's Guide as a Recommended Insolvency & Restructuring Lawyer - New South Wales.
